Discussion and Analysis of the Business and Financial Position as well as future Business prospects of Indian Shanti Gold International Ltd.
Shanti Gold International Ltd is an Indian jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler specialising in 22-karat gold jewellery, including cubic zirconia (CZ)-studded ornaments. Established in 2003, the company manufactures bangles, rings, necklaces and jewellery sets for organised retail customers. Its integrated manufacturing capabilities, computer-aided design expertise and focus on quality have helped it establish relationships with jewellery retailers across India. The company’s shares were listed on the BSE and NSE on August 1, 2025.
The company delivered strong financial growth in FY 2025–26. Revenue from operations increased by approximately 82.46% to ₹2,018.71 crore, compared with ₹1,106.41 crore in FY 2024–25. Net profit rose approximately 159% to ₹140.15 crore from ₹54.11 crore in the previous financial year. EBITDA increased by 121.31% to ₹199 crore, while the net profit margin improved to 6.94%. Jewellery sales volumes grew by around 15.2% to 1,747.8 kg, indicating that revenue growth was supported by both higher volumes and increased gold prices.
Shanti Gold is also investing in manufacturing capacity. Its new Marol facility in Mumbai commenced commercial production on June 8, 2026, adding approximately 4,000 kg of annual capacity. Together with its existing facilities and planned Jaipur expansion, the company expects its installed capacity to reach nearly 7,900 kg annually once the expansion is fully operational. The company also raised additional funds through a rights issue in August 2026 to support working capital requirements.
Future Business Prospects
The future outlook for Shanti Gold International appears promising, supported by the expansion of organised jewellery retail in India and the company’s growing manufacturing capabilities. As established jewellery chains seek reliable suppliers offering consistent quality, attractive designs and timely delivery, Shanti Gold could benefit from increasing outsourcing opportunities and stronger relationships with existing customers.
1. Expansion in manufacturing capacity: The new Mumbai facility provides substantial additional production capacity, enabling the company to serve more customers and fulfil larger orders. Successful utilisation of this capacity could support revenue growth, improve operating efficiency and strengthen its competitive position.
2. Product diversification: The company’s entry into machine-made plain gold jewellery, Mangalsutra and Turkish-style jewellery could open new market opportunities. Its design team develops more than 400 new designs monthly, helping it respond to changing consumer preferences and the requirements of organised retailers.
3. International expansion: The incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai in May 2026 provides a platform for developing international business. If the company establishes distribution relationships and secures repeat orders in overseas markets, exports could become an additional growth driver.
4. Improved profitability and financial strength: Strong FY26 earnings growth, an improved profit margin and a reduction in borrowings provide a favourable foundation for expansion. However, the company must manage working capital carefully because jewellery manufacturing requires substantial investment in gold inventory and receivables.
Key Risks and Conclusion
Investors should monitor fluctuations in gold prices, intense competition, customer concentration, working capital requirements and the company’s ability to utilise its expanded capacity efficiently. Higher gold prices can increase reported revenue without a proportionate increase in jewellery volumes. Any delay in expansion benefits or deterioration in margins could also affect financial performance.
Overall, Shanti Gold International Ltd has promising long-term business prospects, supported by strong FY26 growth, additional manufacturing capacity, product diversification and international expansion plans. Its future performance will depend on sustained volume growth, effective cost management and successful execution of its expansion strategy. Investors should evaluate the latest quarterly results, valuation, debt levels and cash flows before making investment decisions.
