Investors are advised to maintain highest degree of secrecy in User IDs, Passwords and OTPs of these Accounts because even a casual and minor looking lapse or mistake may prove as a blunder costing huge amount of money. In order to protect the interest of the investors dealing in securities, we advise you to keep the following points in mind before investing/trading in securities market: |
1. Do not disclose/share your Account Password/OTP with anyone, including Employees of the Bank or Share Boking Company. Employees of Bank or Share Broking Company will never ask you any Password/OTP or User ID under any circumstances. 2. Do not to subscribe to any scheme or products/arrangements offered by any entities and/or person that involves providing assured/guaranteed returns or unauthorized portfolio management/Collective investment schemes. Such arrangements /schemes are not permitted by SEBI/NSE/BSE and are nothing but a scam or fraud. 3. Periodically change your Account Passwords to avoid any misuse of your account. 4. Be cautious towards market rumours or unauthenticated news that can cause you any unwanted huge financial losses. 5. Maintain caution towards unsolicited SMS being floated by unregistered or unauthorized entities asking you to invest in securities by indicating target prices. All these messages should be treated as Scams/Frauds 6. Be aware while dealing in securities based on unsolicitated tips received through Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook, Youtube, SMS, calls etc. All these communications should be treated as Scams/Frauds. 7. Keep your address and contact details updated in your Bank/Demat/Trading account as and when they change. 8. Understand the terms and conditions applicable for availing the products and services being offered by your Stock Broker. 9. Carefully read and understand the documents executed by you including voluntary clauses of the agreement executed between you and the stock broker. |
Further, you are advised to take additional care of the below mentioned points while trading in derivatives segment (i.e. Futures & Options, Currency Derivatives Segment etc.) at all times : 10. Do not trade in leveraged products like options, without having its proper understanding as it could lead to losses. 11. Do not write/ sell options or trade in option strategies based on tips, without basic knowledge & understanding of the product and its risks. 12. Do not trade in “Options” based on recommendations received from unauthorised / unregistered investment advisors and influencers. Generally these tips are frauds/scams. Do not get trapped into these tips or recommendations.
